L.J. Christmas Apartments is a non-profit building for independent seniors who are over 60 years of age. Centrally located nearby Lougheed Mall, we are readily accessible to public transportation, grocery stores, banks, restaurants, medical clinics, seniors recreation facilities and many other amenities.
Embrace a New Chapter
In 1969 the Burquitlam Lions Club, and then Mayor of Coquitlam, L.J. (Jimmy) Christmas, had the foresight to envision an apartment complex specifically for seniors. Within two years that vision became reality and the building opened February 1971. Today our volunteer Board of Directors continue to run the building and build on their legacies.
L.J. Christmas Apartments offers

We work hard every day to ensure we offer a place you will be proud to call home. Our apartments are naturally well lit and offer large wall to wall windows and ample closet space. Rent includes heat, hot water, electricity, and basic cable.
